Responsible Gaming at LineUp: Tools and Help for Canadian Players

LineUp treats casino games and sports betting as paid entertainment, not as a source of income. This page lists the controls the brand actually offers: a deposit limit set through Customer Support, self-exclusion from 24 hours up to a permanent block, and account closure on request. It also gives phone numbers of help lines that Canadian players can call at any hour. Accounts are open only to adults aged 19 and over. The tools work best when used early, before losses start to pile up.

Keeping Play in Proportion

A few simple habits make it easier to stay in control of both time and money:

  • Play only with money left after rent, bills and groceries are covered.
  • Set a budget and a finishing time before you log in.
  • Treat a loss as the price of the evening and do not chase it with a new deposit.
  • Watch the clock: slots and live tables have no natural pause.

Warning Signs Worth Checking Honestly

LineUp publishes a short self-test. If most answers are yes, talk to one of the help services below:

  • Does gambling keep you from work, school or time with family?
  • Have you hidden the time or money you spend on betting from people close to you?
  • Have you borrowed money, or lied, to fund gambling or pay gambling debts?
  • Do you keep playing until the balance is empty?
  • Do you try to win back a loss straight away?
  • Do you feel low or hopeless because of gambling?

Deposit Limits Set Through Customer Support

There is no self-service limit screen in the account. To set or change a deposit limit, contact Customer Support through Live Chat or at support@lineup.bet and name the amount you want applied. The two directions work differently:

ChangeWhen it applies
Lower the limitImmediately
Raise the limitAfter a 24-hour cooling-off period

The delay on increases is there to stop a decision made in the middle of a losing session. Set the figure on a calm day, not after a bad result.

Self-Exclusion From 24 Hours to Permanent

Self-exclusion is a break you choose yourself. For the whole period you cannot deposit, play, bet, get promotions or open a new account. Customer Support applies it:

TemporaryPermanent
Length24 hours, 7 days, 30 days, 6 months or 1 yearNo end date
How it endsLineUp emails you and reactivates the account after the periodWritten request to Customer Support, then 7 calendar days before reactivation

A temporary self-exclusion is not the same as closing the account: the balance stays locked until the account is reactivated. LineUp may extend a period, or refuse to reactivate an account, if there are signs that problem gambling continues. The exclusion starts once it is set up and confirmed to you. A provincial self-exclusion program does not extend to LineUp, so the request has to be made to LineUp directly. If you would rather close the account because of gambling concerns, write to support@lineup.bet.

Age 19+ and Keeping Minors Off the Site

LineUp accounts are for players aged 19 and over. Any winnings on an account opened by a minor are cancelled, and age is checked with photo ID during verification. If a laptop or tablet at home is shared with children, a parental filter such as Net Nanny blocks gambling sites. Keep your login details private and do not let the browser save the password on a shared device.
