LineUp Betting Rules: How Sports Bets Are Accepted and Settled

This page sums up the Sportsbook Terms and Conditions that apply to every bet on the LineUp sportsbook, from a single NHL moneyline to a ten-leg Combo. Placing a bet means accepting them. The full rules also have sections for each sport, esports, racing and Predictions. When rules conflict, a market rule beats a sport rule, and a sport rule beats the general rules. The English text prevails over any translation. Odds on the site appear in American format (+148), while the rules quote decimal odds, so key thresholds below are given in both.

Single, Combo, System and Bet Builder

The sportsbook takes three basic bet types, plus Bet Builder for a single match:

Bet typeWhat it coversWhen it pays
SingleOne selectionThe selection is correct: stake x odds
Combo (parlay)Two or more independent selections, odds multipliedEvery selection is correct
SystemSeveral Combos built from your picks, same stake on eachEach winning combination pays on its own
Bet BuilderSeveral markets inside one eventEvery chosen outcome is correct

Named Systems save time: a Trixie covers 3 selections in 4 bets, a Yankee 4 selections in 11 bets, and a Canadian 5 selections in 26 bets, up to the Goliath with 8 selections and 247 bets. Related outcomes, such as a team to win the league plus the same team to win the deciding game, cannot share a Combo: such a Combo is void.

Cash Out and Early Payout

Cash Out settles a bet before the event ends, on the terms the sportsbook offers at that moment. It may appear pre-match and live, and the offer can change or vanish at any time. Once accepted, the bet is closed.

Early Payout is a tag on selected markets. If its condition is met, the bet pays as a winner whatever the final score. In a Combo, only the tagged legs settle early.

Bet Acceptance, Odds Changes and Stake Limits

A bet is valid only after the betslip confirms it and it appears in My Bets. From then on it cannot be changed or cancelled, and duplicated stakes placed by mistake are not reversed. Before betting, choose how the slip handles a price move:

  • accept any odds change (the default);
  • accept only higher odds;
  • accept no change without your new confirmation.

Live bets can be held back during dangerous moments, such as a free kick or a one-on-one attack. Maximum stakes are set per event, market or player and can change without notice, though never for bets already accepted.

Settlement and the 72-Hour Correction Window

Bets are settled on the official result declared when the event ends. Protests, appeals or doping cases that change the result later are not taken into account. Within 72 hours of settlement, the sportsbook can still correct a human, system or data-source error; after that, the settlement is final and queries are no longer accepted. Winnings with more than two decimal places are rounded to the nearest cent. Live scores, clocks and streams on the site are for information only.

Does Overtime Count? Hockey, Basketball and More

The market name tells you whether extra time is included. Default settings by sport:

Ice hockey
markets cover regular time, three 20-minute periods. Where overtime and shootout are included and a shootout decides the game, one goal is added to the winner and to the total.
Basketball
the default is four quarters, unless the name says “(incl. Overtime)”. Most moneyline, handicap and total markets are offered with overtime included.
American football
overtime counts only when stated. A postponed game must finish within the same NFL week, Thursday to Wednesday, or match bets are void.
Baseball
full-game markets need 9 innings, or 8.5 if the home team leads. Moneyline, run line and total runs usually include extra innings.
Soccer
90 minutes plus stoppage time, without extra time or penalties.

Postponed, Abandoned and Void Bets

A void bet returns the stake to your balance, settled at odds of 1.00. The usual triggers:

  • the event is officially cancelled before the start;
  • a delayed event gets no new start time within 12 hours, or does not begin within 48 hours of the original time;
  • a started event is interrupted and not finished within 48 hours;
  • a walkover or forfeit;
  • home and away teams are swapped by a venue change.

Markets already decided at the moment of interruption still stand: Over 2.5 goals wins if three goals were scored. When competitors tie for a paid place, dead heat rules divide the stake by the number of tied competitors.

Comboboost and Bonus Bet Payouts

Comboboost adds to the winnings of a Combo when each leg has odds of at least 1.50 (-200 in American format). The multiplier grows with the number of selections:

SelectionsMultiplier
21.01
51.05
101.2
151.45
202

The boost uses the final odds once every leg is settled, and cashed-out Combos do not qualify. System bets never count toward bonus wagering. Bonus Bets from the Sport Welcome Pack are Stake Not Returned: a winning Bonus Bet pays only the net winnings. A Freebet works the same way, Freemoney returns stake and winnings, and a Bet No Risk refunds the stake if the bet loses.

Prohibited Practices and Account Checks

Every player bets alone, with own funds and own decisions. Bets are voided, and the account can be restricted, for:

  • bots, scanners and other automated betting tools;
  • multiple or shared accounts, or bets from several accounts on one IP address;
  • syndicate or group betting;
  • arbitrage across bookmakers;
  • bets on fixed matches or on outcomes already known;
  • using obvious odds errors or software bugs, which players must report.

While suspected unfair activity is investigated, withdrawals can be held for up to 31 calendar days.
